Get Ready To “Save The City”! Rogers: The Musical – Disney Duck’s Review

As soon as we watched the song Save The City performed on the Hawkeye Disney+ series, we’ve been hoping for Rogers: The Musical at California Adventures. We thought it would be perfect at Hyperion Theater since it’s right next to Avengers Campus.

Happily for us Disney kids, Disney delivered! Rogers: The Musical is showing for a limited run at the Hyperion Theater. It ends August 31st — don’t miss it! And if you can’t make it in time, here’s our video of the full musical for you to enjoy. Also, in Save The City, there’s a technical difficulty, everything was fine.

So, here is my review for Rogers.

The story includes a bunch of different Marvel movies like Captain America The First Avenger, The Avengers, The Avengers Age of Ultron, Captain America and The Winter Soldier, The Avengers Infinity War, and The Avengers Endgame. The story is really fun and nice. The Starkettes help with the story and they make it very funny. I would rate the story 4.5 out of 5.

These songs are what makes the musical fun. This musical is around 30 minutes. I rate the whole thing a 4.7 out of 5 or you could say a 5 star rating. Rogers made me appreciate slow songs because I never liked those.

Opening Song: The opening song features Steve, Peggy, Bucky, and the Starkettes. The opening song can be really energetic and fun. Honestly, this song would be a 4.2 out of 5.

I Want You: I Want You is a beautiful song where Steve wants the sign to mean him, but it doesn’t have to mean him. I think it’s one of the best songs in Rogers. I would rate it 4.6 out of 5.

The Star Spangled Banner Man: This song has a slow part and a fun part. It shows Steve’s transportation from regular skinny man to the Super Soldier. Also the slow ballad with Peggy is nice. I would rate this song 3.7 out of 5 though.

What You Missed: This song is Nick Fury’s song. He is by far my favorite and this song is funny, and Nick Fury mentions, “Darth Vader is his dad!” This song would be a 4.8 out of 5.

The Avengers/What You Missed: In this song he Nick mentions the Avengers and shows where everyone is. This song also continues What You Missed. I rate this one a 4.7 out of 5.

Save The City: This song is the original from Rogers on Hawkeye. It is really catchy and fun. This song shows the original Avengers but with Ant-Man. This song is a 4.3 out of 5.

Save The City Reprise: This song shows the rest of the battles like, Ultron, The Winter Soldier, and Thanos. This song is a 3.4 out of 5.

At The End of The Line: This song features the old Steve also featuring the Time Stone saying Time can be Rewritten as Steve goes back in Time for Peggy. This song is another awesome song and I rate it 4.9 out of 5.

Finale: This song shows Steve going back in time for that date with Peggy. This song is very nice, but not my favorite. I rate this song 4.0 out of 5.
