At Disney, there is Easter Egg hunting around Easter. You get a map and look for eggs around the parks and Downtown Disney.
There are 12 different eggs to find at Disney California Adventures: Mickey, Minnie, Dale, Chip, Daisy, Donald, Lightning McQueen, Tow Mater, Goofy, Pluto, Thumper and White Rabbit.
For the 2024 Eggstavaganza at DCA, I’m going to rate the eggs from hardest to easiest. Start your hunt by getting your map at Elias & Co.
12. Carthay Circle Theater
This one is really hard. You have to go to the restaurant and go to the left (facing the restaurant). Once you get close to the Disney Jr. Dance Party line then stop. Look at the restaurant and look up at the balcony. There you will spot Donald!
11. The Disney Animation Building
This one is also high again and to the left of the building. It is on a small ledge on the gray building. There you will find Daisy.
10. Cahuenga Building
The only reason this was hard was because we didn’t know where the Cahuenga Building was. Once you find out where it is, look to the right of the building and look up. There you will spot the White Rabbit.
9. Pixar Promenade
Pixar Promenade is hard because it is up high. It is to the left of the Pixar Promenade sign. You will spot Minnie.
8. Embarcadero Gifts
This is where the eggs start getting easy. This one is across from the Little Mermaid’s Under Sea Adventure. If you look up at the corner of the building, you will find it. It is Pluto.
7. Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill
This one is in San Fransokyo. If you find the place, go to the right and it’s right under the Karaoke sign. Look, it’s Goofy.
6. Redwood Creek Challenge Trail
The Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is where you can do many activities. When we went, it was closed, so we looked at the outside and saw Chip next to a tree.
5. Knick’s Knacks
This is the only egg that is inside a store. If you go to the back of the store, you can find Mickey by one of the exits.
4. Route 66 Building
If you want to spot this egg, you should go to the Luigi’s Rollickin Roadsters side and you’ll spot Lightning McQueen.
3. Lamplight Lounge
The Lamplight Lounge is at the entrance of Pixar Pier across from Knick’s Knacks. Look to the left of the sign and you’ll spot Thumper.
2. Trolley Treats
This one you should try to spot first. Just go to the main entrance of Trolley Treats, look up, and you’ll spot Dale.
1. Tow Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree
This one is the final one on our egg hunt. If you look at the sign, you will see Tow Mater inside a tire.

Once you finish, go redeem your prize. You can choose from, Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Judy Hopps or Thumper.
