Welcome to Disney Discovered where we have then news for the young at heart. If you’ve seen Pixar movies, one thing they love hiding in it is the Pizza Planet Truck. Now, Disney hid Pizza Planet Trucks all around Disneyland and at California Adventures. Here are the ones in DCA (we’ve found 21 so far), along with some trivia about each!
1. Better Together Parade
Better Together is the first parade at California Adventures since covid. There are two parades a day: At 4pm (starting in Hollywood) and 6:30pm (starting by Silly Symphony). The first hint for finding the Pizza Planet Truck is that it is toward the end of the parade. The second hint is that it is on the back of the truck Woody is standing on.
2. Five and Dime Window Display
Did you know they made a jazz band that plays in DCA called Five and Dime? The lead singers name is Dime and there are 5 of them. For the first Pizza Planet Truck at the Five and Dime store, the only hint is that it is in a window with a Little Mermaid play set in it.
3. Five and Dime Balcony
There is a second Pizza Planet Truck at the Five and Dime. The first hint is that you should be outside. The next hint is that you need to look up! It is on a table on the balcony.
4. Julius Katz
The name of this building was inspired by Julius the cat from the Alice Comedies. This Pizza Planet Truck is simple to find. The only hint is that it is in a window display.
5. Trolley Treats Window Display
Find Goofy’s Candy Co here too! The first hint is that it is in a window display. The second hint is that it has candy canes and lollipops on it.
6. Trolley Treats Shelf
Make sure to catch the miniature trolley going around the candy mountain in Trolley Treats. For the second Pizza Planet Truck here, the first hint is that it is up high. The second hint it that it is by a bunch of jars on a shelf. Look above the gummies.
7. Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe
This cafe is also known as Starbucks. The first hint is that you need to go to the left side where you can pick up drink orders. The second hint is that it is green and up on a shelf.
8. Animation Academy
During Pixar Fest, draw Pixar characters all day. The first hint is that when you’re entering the Animation Academy, look straight ahead down the stairs. The second hint is that you can find the truck near Forky. The third hint is that it is on top of a shelf by a Luxo Ball and Lamp.
9 Monster Inc. Mike and Sulley To The Rescue
Did you know this is the only ride to feature a bathroom?! Speaking of the bathroom, that’s where it is! The second hint is that it is in a bag on top of the lockers.
10. Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout!
Have you spotted Harold the yeti from Matterhorn in the Guardians of the Galaxy ride? The first hint is that it is in the queue. The second hint is that it is in the left collector’s office/preshow. The third hint is that it is in the cabinet Rocket steals something from. (Check out the tag in the truck – it says HTH, Do Not Disturb. HTH is the Hollywood Tower Hotel, which is what the ride used to be.)
11. Terran Treats
Terran Treats is by the entrance to Avenger Campus coming from the Hyperion Theater, near the exit of Guardians of the Galaxy. The first hint is that it is in a display next to it. The second hint is that it is inside a block of (what looks like) ice. This block is a Terrestrial Sustainment Conveyor.
12. Spider Man Web Slingers – Left Preshow Room
You can find the Luxo Lamp in the preshow! Speaking of the preshow for Web Slingers, you can find it in both preshow rooms. They are in the same spot. The only difference for the preshow room to the left is that the truck is red.
13. Spider Man Web Slingers – Right Preshow Room
Find Miles Morales’s locker! The Pizza Planet Truck in the preshow to the right is silver.
14. Radiator Springs Racers
You can get 1 of 2 rooms. Luigi’s tires, or Ramone’s Spray Paint when you ride Radiator Springs Racers. The first hint is that it is on the ride.The second hint is that it is in the town scene. Look for the big sign that says HERE IT IS because that is where you should look out for the Pizza Planet Truck! The third hint is that it is on Lizzie’s Curios.
15. Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree
Based on the holiday, the song for Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree changes. The first hint is that you want to be in the right lane when the cast member tells you which side to go on. The second hint is that it is on the jukebox.
16. Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters
Each car has a name! The first hint is that the Pizza Planet Truck is in the queue. The second hint is that it is in Luigi’s office.
17. Cozy Cone Motel
Spot Buzz and more Toy Story characters under cones here. The first hint is that it is inside the main building. The second hint is that it is on a table.
18. Lamplight Lounge
We haven’t found this one in person yet! We asked the cast member in front whether we could go in to take a look for this, and she said that we couldn’t unless we were dining in the restaurant. The first hint is that it is inside. The second hint is that it is on the lower level. The third hint is that it is in the Pixar booth with all the Luxo balls. The fourth hint is that it is high up on a shelf.
19. Incredicoaster
Have Jack Jack’s cookie Num Num’s next to the ride. The first hint is that it is on the ride. The second hint is that it is at the end of the ride. The third hint is that Jack Jack is playing with it.
20. Little Mermaid Under Sea Adventure: Do you know Mr. Limpet? You can find him on this ride and in the movie. The first hint for the Pizza Planet Truck is that it is on the ride. The second hint is that it is behind Prince Eric’s Shield. The third hint is that by Prince Eric, I mean the statue.
21. San Fransokyo Maker’s Market
San Fransokyo is the newest edition to Disneyland and DCA. The first hint is that it is inside the area next to the Hiro and Baymax meet and greet. The second hint is that it is up high in the store.
22. Grizzly Peak Refreshment Point Car
Find the Chip egg in there in one of our other posts! The only hint is that it is in the car.
23. Grizzly River Run (On The Ride)
This is another one we have to find as we haven’t gone on the ride yet. A cast member told us that it is after the first drop. Hopefully we can get a picture when we’re on the ride so we can share it with you!
24. Grizzly River Run 2 (Boathouse)
This one is not confirmed, but a cast member said they’re adding one in the line by the boat house.
